Member Testimonials

At GET IT MADE, we take great pride in our members and their milestones in story development. With the support of our community, Industry Pros and tools, storytellers have transformed ideas and scripts into polished, industry-ready packages that showcase their creative vision.

Don’t hear it from us, hear it from the storytellers who’ve been part of GET IT MADE.

  • “I’m Ron Sandoval, writer and producer of Plight, and a long-time member of the GET IT MADE, where I’ve become one of its most accomplished participants. With Plight fully produced and now screening with top production companies such as Netflix, along with several other projects from myself and fellow Get It Made members, our work is actively coming to fruition. After nearly fifteen years of rejection in the industry, I finally gained a foothold through this platform, thanks to its comprehensive educational curriculum and the wealth of knowledge shared by seasoned industry professionals.”

  • “I am a writer and member of GET IT MADE. I’ve been a member for over two years. These people are genuinely trying to help writers polish their work, assist with assets to package their scripts, and so much more. I have met with producers with their help. I am currently working with a story producer of theirs who has been more than worth it.”

  • “As a member of GET IT MADE, I feel more motivated to write and connected to the industry than I did in LA. The program is focused, providing clear guidance each step of the way. I have three projects (1 pilot and 2 features) that have gone through the process and are now in GET IT MADE’s IP Catalog. I have another feature ready to be added and have more projects in the pipeline. You see, GET IT MADE is not about getting SOMETHING made, it’s about making you into a writer who can write things that producers, directors and studios WANT TO MAKE. GET IT MADE provides consistent, actionable feedback that has improved my writing tremendously.”

  • "Everyone knows script services and contests are exploitative... but after taking 70+ generals (as a repped writer at big agencies) that went nowhere and execs saying “your best bet is just getting something made to show,” I was psyched to do GIM’s original script contest where the prize was them shooting your short. I won. This was in 2018. They made my thing… Fast-forward to 2023 - GIM had evolved into a community. I paid for [an annual membership]. My projects got sharpened up through regular calls along with pitch decks, pitching, table reads, etc. A year later they had me meet with a producer and I “won” again. I’ve now made those fees back 5 times over and counting for a project that is actually going to be made."

  • “I’ve been a member of GET IT MADE for over three years, and I’ve never felt taken advantage of. It’s quite the opposite. Their unique strategy met my expectations. For instance, the most challenging and rewarding exercise for me was to devise a POC (Proof of Concept). It helped me focus on the essentials and essence of my scripts, condensing them into a six-page version. They have also helped me improve my craft through their Logline and Pitch workshops, Table Reads with professional actors, one-on-one Story Development sessions with a producer, and Group Coaching with industry professionals.”

    Suzanne Lutas

  • “I’m a current member of GET IT MADE, and I have been since 2020. They offer a lot of value in their services. As a member, I’ve been helped crafting loglines, synopses, character sheets, pitches, etc., all with access to industry professionals with actual experience under their belts. They’ve helped me hone my skills, and there is a fantastic community of knowledgeable, passionate creatives who all want to see each other succeed.”
