Lookbook vs. Pitch Deck vs. Series Bible
Sample Lookbook [view here]
Elements of a Lookbook:
Basic Film Info (Logline / Synopsis / Character Descriptions)
Color Palettes
Locations (Potential and Aspirational)
Casting Ideas
A pitch deck serves as a visual supplement to your film screenplay. A pitch deck may contain elements of a Lookbook but it is a deeper dive into style, tone, genre, casting, location, crew, accolades and awards; who is attached (ie. known Talent, Producer or Director), financial details and projections.
A show bible is a pitching document designed to accompany pilot scripts. A pilot script is the introduction of the story while the connected series bible showcases its long-term potential. An effective bible will track the characters, arcs, episodes, and seasons of a show.
