PROJECT RULES, TERMS, AND CONDITIONS

From Page to Proof Program
(last updated 09.14.2025)

By submitting, I acknowledge that I have read carefully and agree to the following:

  1. Submission & Agreement

I am submitting a script (the “Material”) to be reviewed by Get It Made (“GIM”) and The Writers Lab (“TWL”) (collectively “you”). This constitutes the entire agreement between me, the undersigned, and you regarding this submission. I request that GIM and TWL read and evaluate the Material. You agree to do so.

  2. Evaluation

I request that GIM and TWL read and evaluate the Material for consideration for the From Page To Proof program, and You agree to do so.

  3. Scope of Obligation

I acknowledge that your only obligation in connection with this submission is to consider the Material for the From Page to Proof program. No further obligations are implied.

  4. Selection & Rules

If my Material is selected for a prize, I may be required to accept in writing the official From Page to Proof Project Rules, which will be provided to me in advance. No contractual relationship with GIM or TWL exists unless and until I have accepted those rules in writing.

  5. Non-Circumvention

The GET IT MADE Terms of Service also restrict direct dealings with Industry Professionals or other GIM users introduced through the platform. For so long as I am a user and for two (2) years thereafter, I agree not to engage with such parties on projects of the type GIM would normally undertake without GIM’s meaningful involvement.

  6. Ownership & Registration

I warrant that I am the sole owner and author of the Material, with the full right to submit it. I confirm that my script is registered with a legally recognized guild or copyright office. I understand that unregistered works may not be protected and that failure to register may result in disqualification. I will retain all rights to my Material during and after submission.

  7. Non-Protectable Material

I acknowledge that elements of the Material that are not protectable literary property may be freely used by GIM, TWL, or their representatives without liability. Submission does not create any special relationship or duty beyond what is outlined here.

  8. Refund Policy

All entry fees are non-refundable, regardless of submission status, disqualification, or withdrawal.

  9. Disqualification & Fees

GIM and TWL are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, or misdirected submissions. Such submissions will be disqualified, and fees will not be refunded. Submissions that do not meet requirements will also be disqualified without a refund.

  10. Consent

I acknowledge that my Material will not be accepted or evaluated unless I agree to these provisions.

  11. Release

In consideration of the evaluation of my Material, I release GIM, TWL, and their directors, officers, employees, agents, and representatives from any and all claims, actions, or demands in connection with this submission.
