Join us this Saturday to hear their 2-min elevator pitch. Four exceptional writers will be selected to work with Karolyn directly in this summer’s fast-paced 8-session writing intensive.

This summer, Karolyn Carnie will be selecting 4 writers to write a Television pilot for today's market.
In this fast-paced 8-session writing intensive, you will be able to complete a pilot draft of your Television Series that meets industry standards. Karolyn will guide you every step of the way as you learn about how a writers' room works, etiquette, and much more.
Although Karolyn will be working specifically with 4 writers, the room will be open for all submitters to join and audit the workshop. This unique opportunity enables everyone to peek inside a working writers' room and learn from an industry pro.
This workshop is NOT for your first script ever. It can be a new idea (or a rewrite of submission sample), but if you’ve never written a TV pilot before, please refrain from submitting.
DEADLINE: Submit a full-length script writing sample, logline and elevator pitch of your TV project (30 minute or one hour are acceptable) by June 1st

ABOUT KAROLYN CARNIE
Based out of Toronto, Karolyn has worked on FX Networks; MRS. AMERICA, Y: THE LAST MAN, BELATED PILOT and UNT. LAUREN LUDWIG PILOT. She then joined Season 1 of Paramount Plus & CBC’s SKYMED and is Consulting producer for Season 2.
Karolyn Carnie fell in love with the power of television at a young age upon recognizing how it could unite families and strangers alike in its ability to showcase the world’s not often visible to the masses.
Karolyn has her Masters's degree from UCLA in Screenwriting and while in LA worked for SUITS, TITANS, and PEARSON. Karolyn was a judge prestigious Holly Shorts competition in their LGBTQ+ category. She was a panelist on the Hollywood Chills Screenwriting panel and was interviewed on a podcast for Hollywood women and minorities, she placed on the 2019 WE FOR SHE WriteHer List, as female writers to watch.
